That would be a nice idea...to have TE as a selectable option you can check or uncheck, back in with the rest of the game modes.

It is amazing the effect TCs can have on battles. I played one in a Team Elimination battle the other day, spent most of the time healing team mates and we won the first round. I was also the only TC on the team.

I got taken out in the second round and we lost.

Decided to play a Dreadnought in the decider and we lost as the team went yolo (no healers at all). smile

I find Dreadnoughts hard to play well due to their lousy manouvreability (also never any Tac Cruisers around when you need them) so I tend to die a lot quicker than when I'm playing Destroyers.

Well for what its worth I don't see how huge spacecraft, massing hundreds of thousands of tons, could move like fighter jets.

If you're one of these ADD / twitcher types that needs everything to move at light speed, this is most definitely not the game for you.

Maybe COD would suit you better...

Have to say I don't get on with arty cruisers outside of Proving Ground games. I find they're a magnet for enemy fire, even with the cloaking and warping aids. Always seem to be reloading right at the wrong times as well.

Maybe I just need more practice (I'm still pretty new to the game). Destroyers and dreadnoughts are a lot more noob-friendly.

Lol. I thought I recognised that name from somewhere. I'm amazed you're still persevering with WoT. I gave up a long time ago. I remember you getting into a lot of arguments on the WoT forums. Always an entertaining read. smile

You probably won't remember me but I was in TDU (twice) under the names Dyrewolfe and the one you see on this post. I seem to recall you were / are Garbad the Weak...

Maybe I'll run into you some time now I have a Tier IV ship. smile

Sure thing, I'll keep an eye out. Add me if you want, that is my name. Either that or just Garbad I forget.

I actually quit WOT a long time ago. WG was just too repulsive and cash grabby, and truth be told, I beat the game. Not much to do after 30k games. Still playing Divinity 2, GW2, RTWsmileEI, Dread, eve online, AW, and considering battlestar.

Cool - will do. smile

Still playing AW myself with the Angels of Death (AOD) clan, as Dyrewolfe.

Wow - if thats your biggest problem with the game, I'd say the devs are doing a good job.

That one is pretty good. Don't forget youtube tho.

Here's another funny one. By like page 5 I am in a full on death feud with the moderators:

I tend not to customise low tier vehicles / ships etc. as I rarely play them once I've unlocked the higher ones.

That said, I've just bought the Founder's Pack with the Tier II PCS Morningstar and Tier IV Morningstar. I've renamed the latter Temeraire, after one of the Royal Navy ships that fought at Trafalgar.

I've also got Victory, Invincible (oh the hilarity!) and Pillar of Autumn lined up for when I get some more. smile

Yep - same thing happens to me on a regular basis. Got kicked twice in a row tonight. Happens exactly as OP described. You're selected for a battle and join, but then you instantly get sent back to the hangar. smile
