Is Assault blink warp overpowered?

I mean it really isnt that op and i never use it. You can easily counter it by..... Oh gosh moving out having awareness and calling it to your team. Proximity mines will do the trick as well as a Purge. It can one shot a VERY small number of ships. Quit blaming something because you refuse to adapt. Ps tier 2 doesn't play in vet which means you're way behind and probably don't know to much

Honestly, I never once considering Blink Warp as OP. It can be very effective depending on the person that uses it, and when they use it. But I don't think there's even been a situation where it felt like they had the upper hand because of it. Interesting.

No, Miguel, 15k is ridiculously low amount providing the fact that the module itself requires a very good alignment and timing. Sounds and looks easy to perform, when you're watching from the side. What about those snipers laying egg after egg, which takes your health half way just to get closer to realize the sniper has disruptor autobeams and armor amp, along with desperate measures...

T2 absolutely still plays in vet. This is a ps4 post. Which means If you are playing on pc there are huge balancing differences right now compared to your current build.

None of the current modules count since nearly all corvettes at the moment run disruption pulse which is equal range to stasis.

Purge beam doubles your healers incoming damage and empties their energy so the corvette gets to 1 shot you with its basic guns.

Stasis ammo and a dedicated destroyer + team fire works ok. As does mines.

That said The range on the assault warp is greater than most flack cannons and with the highest hp corvette (plus it's uncommonly lucky glancing hit mechanic) you can happily fly in a straight line tanking eveN the heaviest sniper hits for a fair while)

No other module With module amper can currently 1 shot (Or nearly 1 Shot) any t4 or lower ship that's not a dreadnought.

There's a reason I'm grinding corvettes right now.

@Ragnorokx I made a whole post and then the forums decided to give me an error, so it's all gone. Gonna summarize.

None of the modules count since corvettes run disrupt? Wrong. Purge means dead tac? Wrong. ABW range higher than flak? Wrong. Corvettes can tank arty? Dead wrong. No other module @ t4 can 1 shot excluding dread? So, so, so, so very wrong.

Flak cannon range for Destroyers 800m, Light Flak turrets for Artillery cruisers 700m and Heavy Flak cannons for Dreadnoughts 1200m and Assault blink warp is currently at 1600m so if you're going to mouth off LYB get your facts right or post in the correct forum as this is for PS4 not PC. Purge beam for TAC cruisers doesn't do any damage itself and you have to constantly hit the target for it to work not to mention the detrimental effects it causes when you use it, it's still a good module but in this situation incredibly dangerous as Ragnorokx pointed out. Another thing if im out of touch i have no idea what you are considering T2, T3 and T4 have all played in Veteran since the Beta all the way through to now so im gonna take everything you say with a pinch of salt. Well you were right about one thing Assault blink warp isn't the only module to oneshot ships for example Plasma Ram, Nuke Salvo, Bomb catapult etc but none of them are instantaneous death apart from Plasma Ram but most people tend to see the angry orange glow of impending death from a charging Destroyer, so 1 out of 3 things right ain't bad LYB. I also had to write this out several times because the PS4 keyboard disappears mid sentence and won't return or doesn't appear at all no matter how many times you click.

Doesn't matter how good you are, there's always someone better.

Just wrote a big post replying but the Fucking forum crashed my phone and lost it all AGAIN.

Greybox I'll start respecting your forum cursing rules again once it's capable of performing basic forum tasks. You know like typing from a phone without it capitalising The start of every word after a backspace! Randomly deleting sections when you tap them to move the cursor Or deleting typed out posts because it causes a phone keyboard/ Firefox freeze.

Ps good job on making it at least tell you about the cursing. It used to just redirect you to the edit page with no warning (Genuine here I'm not being sarcastic)

Go and try to ABW from 1,6km. Then come back and post again. You have to warp through the enemy ship. 1,6km is only the range of the jump, not the range ABW kicks in.

Won't that mean you could still jump at 1.2km (outside all the ranges listed) and it'll still work?
