Hello all , sorry in advance for my english , and i hope you will understand me .

Since some days , i saw a big problem with some players . This players start matchmaking , and try to play , and when they a killed 1 or 2 times , they leave the game . And i think it's for some reason like stats , because when you leave , you don't loose any stats , or sometimes they tell us in the chat , " f****g MM , good luck " , and it's a really frustration for me . I understand when you crash , or if you are tired about the game 1 time ok . But when you leave 5 games on one day , stop play and go breath , because when you leave , it's a bot sometimes that play at your place , and sometimes , nothing ...

Sometimes i fought against good team like AaD , LYB , or some good players , and i don't leave . i do my best on all game i play , and if i see it's a bad day , i stop , and i play other game , or get a break . But it's a problem for other players who stay and i think , now a penality is necessary .

For exemple if you leave 3 games on one day , can't play for 1 hour , or other we can décide it , but i think now , we need to do something against this leavers .

So i hope you understend me and have a nice day and GL HF in game =)

I have floated an idea to adopt the dishonor system from guild wars 2. Every time you leave a match before it ends, you get a 5 minute timeout, that stacks. It could have a weekly reset. Or you have to finish say 10 matches to remove it.

This is something that our teams have brought up internally for a bit now. It's something that could very well be talked about more in the future after our priorities have been taken care of.

I'm very fine to leave during a match, because just a few minute you know it's done. Without doubt, so imo there is no reason to stay. If that match would turn it's just because one guy carrying by getting , suicidal torpedo destroyer, ram destroyer, or blink vet...this is just one player playing...no reason to stay... No teamplay, no strategy in this case.

Matchmaking is very bad and the player pool is low and the squad buildup don't help, so...

Really, when there is no match, there is no match... what the point to stay especially if you don't have those build...

Returning to matchmaking will mostly bring you to another match so it's the only way to keep playing...

As i have very few fun to play anymore, you can bring penalty for leaving this will help to stop playing the game overall

The snake eat his own tail...

The problem is not the leaver, the problem is matchmaking and progression design that do not match at all. For economic reason i presume...

I agree this should be adressed- but I will say that sometimes people will leave just because they don't have time. I have left I think three games give or take in my time playing because I lost track of time or need to eat dinner or something, or if my dog runs into my room...

This might be a shameless promotion but I started a thread not to long ago on the upsides of the matchmaking. It's just my opinion though.

Many many games have a punishment system to stop people greffing. Even triple A MMO's have it.

Yes We all flake out and lose track of time. But a system that is set up to punish repeat offenders that do it in quick succession is not the problem. People wasting other people's time by constantly leaving games is a problem.

I do want to mention that if you quit a game because you actualy have to go, then you are not punished by a delay for your next battle- because you are leaving anyways. So in reality, you don't really have to worry about separating the quiters from the out-of-timers.

That was my point.
