If they are in the T3 JA art a T4 JA art can take them out in one shot as long as they have power to weapons.

There are a few builds with the heavy artillery that can easily one-shot the lighter T3 ships. Volley fire can also do this, not exactly 1-shot, but the result is the same.

an amped BP on T4 vette brings down a T3 heavy arty to a sliver where all you had to do was blow on it.

Several ships can be one shot. Tier 4 JA Artillery puts power to weapons and kills

T3 oberon and JA artillery, T3 and T4 JA corvettes, and tier 3 Oberon Corvette. 1/6 of the available veteran ships, and thats without speccing any modules in or plasma ram, storms, nukes, goliaths, Assault warp, bomb catapult, or mines.

The game design in this game is a joke tbh. There's a apparently a missile that does 20k dmg with a t3 ship having 16k hp. Great logic.

A missile? maybe every missile from a full salvo will do that, but then you have shields that mitigate the damage, models that do it too. You can also use terrain to block missiles.

Yeah, nice tips. Except there's actually a ramming ability (which ignores shields, rofl) that does the same amount of dmg, and then you can't dodge anything, because it's heavily abused and people are getting right in your face to use their "balanced" abilities. I don't get these design decisions whatsoever.

20k damage with one missile can only be done with a tier 4 goliath torpedo. It has low range and bad tracking therefore you can evade it by just activating your shields or moving away from it quickly.

Armor amp, can reduce the damage from a ram to zero. Stasis ammo will hold said ram ship at range so you can kill it. Rams are also not easy to use.

Rams are annoying, but they can be dealt with. There a few things to remember with the most troublesome modules from any ship. -You know what ships have which modules ie the rams are only on destroyers -Most people only use rams on the oberon destroyer (not always, but the vast majority of the time) -to use a ram means to go "all in" meaning they have to single out a target and get to them as fast as possible with them not doing anything but sitting still

If i'm in a dreadnought, I use armor amp and once they ding off my hull i broadside them and that rip them apart with repeaters from there.

A corvette can easily dodge a rammer

In an artillery cruiser, I hit em with a stasis missile and use rapid fire or siege mode to finish them off long before they have a chance to even get close

In a destroyer, there are a lot of options, but I generally see them coming and take them out before they get too close to start the ram.

Like an earlier poster said, ramming is not as easy as it looks and you can duck around or behind cover fairly easy and make them waste a module slot. Remember, since they have some kind of ram as their primary that means they also dont have a strong missile or goliath slotted. Also if its an oberon rammer they will generally have scrambler as their perimeter module and will be very vulnerable to status missiles.
