Tips for getting my fps stable?

amd 8core 4.3ghz, 1070, 16gb, win 7 64

Im seeing about 30-35% cpu and gpu utilization during a match

Im getting like 40fps in matches. Benchmark comes in at 110-120 depending on setting but so far i havn't been able to get match fps to hold.

Is there some really impactful setting I should be dropping, maybe an INI edit, or an nvidia control panel setting perhaps?

Already disabled my cpu overclock as i read that fixed someone elses fps issues, no luck for me though.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated <3

Do you have your drivers updated and everything? There's nothing in particular that is required to improve frames. But, I feel like you shouldn't have any drastic issues with your current specs. If you could, please contact our support team here, they can help you investigate the situation!

You could try putting all your in-game graphic settings to 'Low'.

What's your GPU? What's your motherboard?

"AMD 8 core"

Well is it actually a Ryzen, or just an old FX? Some game engines quite dislike the latter, don't know about how Dreadnought does with it though. (on the other hand I can confirm that it's quite happy with a Ryzen)

I think it's a windows 7 issue....you'll like win 10 and so will your comp. your chipset and gpu are more than enough to do the job - although it's reasonable enough to figure there could be ways that the devs can improve optomization. I get 114 fps in benchmark gtx 970 / 6700k / epic setting...but nowhere near that in game. drop your settings down a bit (particularly AA) and you'll get fps bumped.
