Massive stuttering issues on a new system with fresh install.
Ryzen 3700x, w 32GB RAM, and a 2080 Ti, running 5120x1440 res at Epic settings. Win 10 updated to current patches. Everything has the latest drivers.
Running G-sync on a compatible monitor.
The game freezes immediately for up to 10 secs when the match starts, and then comes back. From there, it becomes a stuttering crapfest all the way.
I don't believe it's the graphics settings as it runs completely smooth otherwise.
I do notice that in Task Mgr, the Dread process goes "Not Responding" almost at a regular interval every few secs. So it's not a display adapter issue.
I have swapped out Kaspersky AV in favor of a lighter AVG. Still no joy. Have put the entire Dread game directory as an exclusion too. No joy.
Does not happen in other games. I run World of Warships at max settings smoothly.
Can't believe this... I upgraded from an i7-4770K with a HD5870 just to get these issues in this game?? The old rig was a bit slow granted but at least I didn't get stuttering issues.
All other games are fine. As mentioned. WoWs, GTA V, Elite Dangerous. All good. It's just Dreadnought that gives these terrible stuttering issues.
