Currently PVE is restricted to "proving grounds". You can get some PVE on PVP recruit matches if there are not enough players, thus having access to the other battle types (onslaught, conquest, etc) and maps. Even if I play PVP relatively often, I prefer PVE. Dreadnought could be the leading example in this type of MMOS by opening PVE to all types of battles and therefore reducing the queing time for veteran and legendary battles (1 minute is fine, like for recruit battles). This actually could be worth a subscription, as there are a lot of players that enjoy the experience provided by Dreadnought and prefer PVE to PVP, due to the competitiveness in all PVP MMOs of this type (WOWs, WOTs, etc...).
