I enjoy the concept, highly strategic, slow paced combat that does all it can to emulate the feeling of a commander of space faring war vessel. A game like this could have easily made its way into my top five...save for the fact that I can only play one match every hour and since this ship maintenance thing seems to kick in for every one of those matches I actually have been going backwards in progression. It really takes away from the experience, Grey box you should really consider taking this game out of closed beta and into open beta because as it stands, your already small playerbase is going to drift away and by the time your game hits the open market there will be too much negativity for you guys to really grow the game.

I'm in agreement with you either start open beta or start handing out alot more keys for closed beta . I to really enjoy the game and I'm new to it as you are I have to play recruit most of the time because tryingtto unlock zhipz and modules I don't have a lot left to pay the maintenance fee. I hope this game takes off and we can get a lot more games in.

DITTO!!! I left my game in matchmaking and it is at 3:45 PLUS!!! that's hours and minutes. I was only able to play one match all day. Tell me how to attach a screenshot here and I will.

Base is going - no - already getting bored and fed up. What the above time tells me is you can't get enough people to play the game across the world. That bodes poorly for the chance of survival.

they hand out quite a bit of keys every (send out invites) every thursday and have been doing so pretty much since closed beta start.
problem is that they send them thursday, and i'd guess about 99% of these people left by sunday/monday

I haven't actually been able to play a game in like 3 days now. I don't know why I keep coming back...Oh yeah because I remember a time where I once had quite a lot of fun. Its been so long now...its almost like a dream.

Que times have been, and are currently single-handedly destroying particiapation in this game. How is this so difficult to figure out?

it's not difficult: but fixing it is hard.
if you invite 500 players today and there's only 2 left tomorrow: you're gonna run out of people to invite
they first need to figure out why people simply dont like the game all that much (especialy that early game experience)
and fix that

Thanks for the feedback Futthewuk, it means a lot. We're aware of the issues with queue times and matchmaking, as mentioned previously there are a number of variables involved. But it's clear that player traffic / fluctuation may be one of the primary reasons. Our teams are currently working on a number of incentives that will hopefully improve the experience for everyone before going into Open Beta. Those should be coming to light fairly soon. That being said our teams really appreciate everyone's patience and input. We understand that it can be frustrating and annoying, and our teams have been looking into the most appropriate resolution(s) that doesn't involve us just jumping into Open Beta. Believe us, we want Open Beta to happen as soon as possible, but our teams also want to make sure a number of things are solid (tweaks / adjustments) across the board before we go over that hill.

Having any issues and need some assistance? Our support team would be more than happy to help! You can reach out to them here!

Player traffic is definitely the late night PST problem. Couple nights in a row we just don't have 16 people online. Most of us are on Discord talking about it each night, and Borg is even Streaming the time sitting in Hangars.

So send out like 200+ invites to people that live in on North American West coast, and Mid Pacific.

I really do appreciate that you guys would take the time to respond to me. This sort of strategic combat and customization is something I have been looking for for a long time. As such I am all too excited to play and progress more. I really hope the playerbase grows so we can all see more game time. It would heartbreaking for me (and I imagine more so for you guys) if this game never gets the playerbase it deserves.
