did you enable directx 12 in settings?
if so that's why
you have to manualy disable it again in your ini files (not sure how but it's on forum in other topics)

Like I said before, Dreadnought hasn't created a DreadGame folder in AppData, so I can't edit anything smile

I've tried repairing my install multiple times, still nothing

Then search everything, look at program files(x86) and search for grey box or greybox. Or right click on the launcher and look for something like "go to diretory path"

i'm guessing since you dont have a dreadgame folder> you have never succesfully loaded the game before?
if so: then you also couldnt have turned on directx 12 mode and couldnt have that bug.
so if you never ran the game before then you wont have the dreadgame folder, and there's another bug you have issues with (and you might wanna contact support)

Id also appreciate it if someone could post their folder because im having the same issue. I tried deleting the folder like everyone said, but that didnt work so then I deleted and reinstalled the game, but now the folder with the files doesnt even exist on my computer, so it crashes on startup. Pls halp

I too need info on this...I have installed this game twice. The first time using the automatic quick installations, which had NO FILES ANYWHERE (I did a full system scan, searched directory and everything. It said it was installed but was nowhere to be found on the computer), then went through the trouble of installing it AGAIN, this time in a custom folder I created...And it STILL is not anywhere on the computer.

It has to be the launcher because I've literally installed 2 games yesterday with not one problem, but twice I've installed a ghost program known as Dreadnought to my computer.
