So, what exactly was changed in the visual department, sides the UI, after the last Alpha?
I missed some of those streams.
I can't quite place it; Everything looks cleaner. More polished. Wrong.
Like the entire was cellshaded, with thick lines and somehow still not enough edges.
Is there some setting I'm missing?
or am I just mentally unstable?

...same. More shadows I think. Different lighting for some of the maps. Tesla cannon beams on the arty look different. More shadows.
And then the HUD is a bit different. Still not sure I like it, but after getting a little more used to it I can at least tell were things are again.

Everything looks like it's made of plastic.
Glaring colours, little texture.
I can't judge my shots properly with the arty cruiser because I don't actually see the trail anymore.
... Can I please get the old visuals? Please?

That's a bug.
You need to change your texture quality setting a bit to make it apply the actual graphics.

Still worse than alpha, somehow, but better.
I think it's prominently the morningstar that looks like it's cellshaded.
