Dreadnought is still moving forward and will be receiving more changes and updates as we move along. We'll continue to release information in the form of threads, images, streams/videos, interviews, and articles. There's actually be quite a bit of information we've released, as well as plans for Dreadnought's future. I'd highly recommend you visit the Dreadnought Discord if you'd bee interested, as well as our Facebook and Twitter. We're still in Closed Beta, but we'll be transitioning into Open Beta soon, so expect some more content and information sooner than later!

Ty finally some answer.
But pls use your own forum i for once didn t even know that you were doing that stuff elswhere.
Or at least make a post when you write sth of importance and just link it in there.

We've actually done that many a times to be quite honest, and for a long while. We've had issues with spam (which we're in the process of removing for good) so there's a good chance that maybe it was buried. Appreciate your input and concern though! smile

Empty words; this means nothing. Of course it's receiving changes! You're just not responding to our feedback on those changes.

We'll continue to release information in the form of threads, images, streams/videos, interviews, and articles. There's actually be quite a bit of information we've released, as well as plans for Dreadnought's future.

Does any of this nebulous "information" directly address the dozens of threads every day about our highly negative feedback on Dreadnought's updates and our major concerns for its "future"?

I'd highly recommend you visit the Dreadnought Discord if you'd bee interested, as well as our Facebook and Twitter. We're still in Closed Beta, but we'll be transitioning into Open Beta soon, so expect some more content and information sooner than later!

You're just dancing around the issue. The vast majority of this forum is feedback about the entire setup of the game right now; we love new content, we just want to be able to play it (not have it stuck behind endless grind and maintenance).

Go address @obliviondoll directly. He's a consistently constructive poster who is giving great feedback. In my humble opinion, if you really want to make it seem like you're listening, you need to prove it to him.

Empty words? I'm sorry you feel that way. We're delivering information that we receive from the teams to you guys as soon as we receive them. Information on upcoming fixes, content, as well as expectations. But that information is given to you when we receive it and we're able to confirm it's legitimate and solidified before presenting it to anyone in the community. The feedback that we take from the community is passed onto the other teams, has been, and will continued to be done as we move forward.

I apologize if you feel that I / we are "dancing around the issue." Dreadnought is not done, therefore adjustments will come in the form of balance changes, patches, updates, etc. As of right now the largest issue we're dealing with are the server issues, and our teams are on it and have been over the previous weekend. Issues are being taken care of based on their severity, but the further we move forward, the more severe issues will be taken care off and we can begin focusing on other elements.

You know, I may not be playing the game any longer, and won't be for the foreseeable future, but let me just say that you, personally, are doing a fine job. I understand that you're the Community liaison here, and I've witnessed some of the flack you take. You stay positive, and relay what information you have, which is really all you can do. I've played many, many online games over the years, tested countless alphas and betas, and it's largely always the same in regards to communication personnel.

I respect what you do, and know that some of us on this side understand your position, and all the baggage that goes along with it.

And herein lies the problem. The dev teams feed you no information which means we get no information. We are kept in the dark until they have already MADE the changes and are doing internal testing. Then our feedback is basically either ignored or implemented in the smallest way possible. People didn't like that you have to grind down one unrelated line for the line you actually want, their response was to give us a couple more lines but still a MASSIVE grind for the ships that some of us want. (Vindicta anyone?)

Then there's the matter of maintenance, which the community has been very vocal about hating. Dev response? Just tweak it a bit to shut us up for a day or two and feel like we're being "listened to" which leads directly to this...

What good is listening if they're not going to respond? If the devs ACTUALLY listened to us then maintenance and progression would have been adequately adjusted. Now they are using "muh servers" as an excuse for not caring what we have to say.
What good are your servers if all they players get frustrated and quit playing? Its like having a massive, expensive party and no one attends.

I just want to say that I apologize if I came off as abrasive. In my earlier post, I did not realize you were only the community manager; you do only know what the team tells you.

However, my earlier post still applies to the game's situation. We hear about how our feedback is taken into consideration and listened to, but we don't see it. We the community are very loud and clear about our feedback and we are not answered on the big, high-level things like the entire tier-system or maintenance.

No he doesnt, none of them, first cause its not "his" game,he is working in a company.Second, cause you adressed someone with an utopian poll system which represent actually nothing, prooving nothing, and mostly havent something to present instead.
Dreadnoughts major problem right now is that its not open to more people, matchmaker cant do wonders with "low" population by design.More people would mean more higher tiered ships to balance in Vet matches. We have prooved already in matches,in game, many times that tiers are overrated against a good coordinated team.Focus fire,it does its magic, you would be surprised how much magic.
Bugs are here for us to find em,we are yet labeled as a "closed beta" either u like it or not. Many thing will yet change.

Thanks man, it means a lot, really does. You're very welcome. I'm just being me and doing my best to make everyone happy. We know things are frustrating and not everyone is happy with the current status of Dreadnought, or the direction that it's going in. But I want everyone to understand that we want you to be happy, at least as much as possible. I absolutely love it when our community is happy, or when they have positive things to say. When it's negative and people are unhappy I do everything I can to help the situation. But it's not simply me trying to put out fires or attempting to just defuse a situation. I'm being honest. I (and the rest of the Community team and company) never want a situation where people feel neglected or ignored. We've heard everything loud and clear and are continuing to move towards producing the best Dreadnought experience possible. It's just going to take time, patience, and understanding. Regardless of how people feel about what I'm saying, know that you all mean the world to us and that's not changing.
