HTTP Client Transport Failure FIX

So when I first tried running the launcher and downloading the game it got stuck at 90% downloaded (for some people it was 91%) and it said "HTTP client transport failure. I did some researching but couldn't find anything on the forums. I know a few other people have been having this issue as well. So I went and looked at some other forums and found a fix. There's a thread on this forum that says to just wait and let the launcher sit but that doesn't work.

Step 1. Close the launcher.
Step 2. Disable your anti-virus (sketchy I know just trust me here).
Step 3. Run the launcher as an administrator.
Step 4. Download the game and play!

If my fix didn't work then check these threads (these methods didn't work for me but they might work for you). Also, if you could add my fix to these threads I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

This did not work for me smile

However Pausing the download every couple of percent did work. I still got the failure but it did not go back as far when it did failed and I managed to slog through the download.

EDIT - Forget all of the above. Now the game wont even launch. process initializes and then just closes. After all of the problems with the game and the servers stability and considering you are in an open state why does this problem exist.

@ItsGary if that doesn't work for you just try and leave it to download over night. Sometimes it just needs a long to download. If that doesn't work then I don't really know what else you can do. Good luck!

The download stops every 1-3 seconds (plus the "HTTP failure" message) and starts again after 10... when do you guess my game will be ready to play? :/

The HTTP error is something that will appear from time to time if there's any form of discrepancy with the data transfer. Majority of the time you can just power through it and the download will complete successfully. If for some reason it's abnormally bad, it wouldn't hurt to reach out to our support team to ensure things are functioning as intended. This fix could certainly help some people's situation. Thank you for sharing!
