Probably won't argue about akula artys being superior to jupiter, but I would about oberon's ones.
From my personal impression, even though developers clearly tried to balance ships around 3 primary aspects - damage/health/speed -they failed a little bit and underestimated the importance of speed.
Therefore, with very few exceptions, the general rule is - the faster the ship, the better it is overall. Exceptions are likely dreds - I don't think either one is better, here the balance of those 3 factors is almost perfect. And Kreshnik is the second exception - although it's not the slowest of 3, it's an ultimate trash, beyond any sense of logic. With the Dola being the second place, this one is The Worst Ship In The Game - by very-very far (not too far from Dola, though)
Speed means not only the tactical flexibility, but the simple fact, that you are rather hard to hit (that's why it doesn't matter much for dreds, as all 3 are equally easy to hit, and thus Lorica only benefits from tactical positioning part of speed).
If you define arty's job as staying alive and doing damage, the Oberon's Nox is better at it. The dps is about the same as all arties, but it's impossible to touch this ship. Dreds and destros (except light) can't catch it, since it's the 4th fastest ship of its Tier (Valcour and Neutron are 1th and 2nd, Vindicta is 3d, I believe). Nox will just keep running and firing.
Arty duels - also in Nox favour. Relatively high hp - so Onager can't oneshot it - after the first hit Nox just starts maneuring, while bringing the constant return fire.
If she starts first - from stealth for example - the initial burst of "Rapid Fire Mode" coupled wtih Power to Weapons is probably the highest in game and can be imeediately fatal for enemy.
Vettes usually fail too, since they can't flank a ship with 4*pi steradians main gun firing angle.
In other words, oberon is love, oberon is life! (And they also have the best skins, which is factor too)
