Macros and team coordination

Recently started playing with the Tartarus nuke, and while it is a marvel when it works; I find it requires communication with my team on the following:

Cooldown on reload - so vets, and destroyers can plan their positioning.

Target it is aimed at - so teammates know who to focus.

Moment of firing - so ships know when to start their attack run.

If I could map those to keys, it would save me a great deal of typing, especially in the heat of battle.

Unlocking all ships and modules should not be the endgame, it should mark the point where the game truly begins.
