Well, ok, I was MOSTLY right on everything, I just never counted puke nukes doing any damage, and purge ram, well lets just say it gets old to get purged by it over and over and your team has no counters or just will NOT SHOOT THE RAMMER! lol
Purge effects are killing this game for me.
I am addicted to Dreadnought like I am addicted to Brake Fluid, I can stop anytime.
Just remember to always shoot the ship being healed and never change tactics and then complain why you lost.
Purge Ram ... seem[s] way too easy to use.
makes me doubt if you actually use it. And besides, how difficult do you think it should be to purposefully hyper-extend into a turtling enemy team and fight them at point blank range with 20k hp? Purge ram arguably has an OP AoE, (can purge the entire tightly-grouped team along with the tac) but the purge effects upon the ram recipient are not a 'win button' unless the rammed just sits back, gives up, and dies doing nothing. The people who keep their guns pointed at me and keep firing them still have a favorable chance to defeat my ramming runs. Especially people with flack.
Personally though, I believe teams that turtle up by bodyblocking their tac, all 4 of them, deserve to all be purged together.
Actually can agree to this. Have had a few times where I have successfully killed the purge rammer but it does need a nerf. Maybe making the disruptor have a shorter time of affect? Or possible reducing the damage of the ram?

I believe the point of contention to be that you can miss the target, put power to engines and reverse while shaking up and down, and still somehow hit them with the ram.
The AOE being nerfed has already been hinted at, we'll see how that goes.
Purge effects are too strong now.
Why? Because most high level ppl always use it unless they use highly specialised builds.
Nerfs are needed.
Right now we have xxxx ton of CCs in game with purge at top but no ways of defending against them. Even Desperate Measures briefing says it removes cc but actually it don't :C
If enemy team focus fire and they all use puer CC modules there is no game ... imagine being non-stop under weapon breaker + purge/drain/disrupt .... I had matches like that... No energy, no modules... what are you supposed to even do? It kills the game because players want to do STUFF but with that you can't do a thing JUST wait for death.
Next problem is healing but that's of topic.
- Pick artillery cruiser 2. Play like pro 3. Get suddenly attacked by vette 4. Press energy shortcut with unmatchable reflex 5. get rek because you set energy to guns.
And then wait minutes for someone to actually start matchmaking, and then someone drops, or someone has to go out for a smoke, or the people you ask are full already or just about to quit and you have to ask someone else, or you got no voice atm so you have to ask in chat and then wait half an hour for someone to read it.... to speak nothing of slower matchmaking if there's not too many squads currently on.. Yeah, no, his opinion is perfectly believable. Maybe not commonly the case, but still.
Not that it would actually matter in the argument, though he did say it, so fair enough.
