The chat needs a ton of work. It is not very user friendly. Some game wide would be nice, and better private chat.

Some basic guild functions also would be a nice addition, since the game is team based.

The chat should be visible all the time. The chat fade out much to fast.

I agree with the above replies. There should be a global server channel to chat while you are in hangar and wait for the battle.
