I do not understand why it is so diffcult to understand that haveing a destroyer moving like a corvette is simply out of balance...this is not skill...this is bad usage of unbalanced features, you have found a way to transform the game in something it was not meant of imho...and becaouse of the fact that we are in beta...Devs can make things right...real balance exists when there is no "supreme" setup, but all setups, at par level, are fair playable...it is simple...I think pou is elsewhere...try finding it..there are numerous posts about corvettes with a set of upgrades simply too strong...we are in beta devs must listen to top players, the less, and to average ones, the most...by the way...if they want to survive and earn money from the game...I agree to limit veteran to tier III and above...because tier II simply cannot keep up with advanced setups and the matche becomes simple slaughter...even if I could reach this "top" setup I doubt I could use it...for what? I enjoy achiveing results in the proper, may be most difficult way, gettin 15 kills thanks to unbalanced game...for me is exploiting...period

This seems more like a shitpost and should be taken down.

I completely agree, this thread isn't productive in the least anymore. At the very least I'd like to see the title edited, unfortunately that may remove the post entirely anyway.

Perhaps another thread, one that remains constructive/objective/on topic, would better serve the community.

But yeah I'd like to see this thread taken down at this point.

No offense Paradigm.

Yeah it's essentially dragging this guy's name through the mud for simply playing the game as it's presented. It doesn't matter if the module is broken or unbalanced. That's Yager's responsibility to fix. You guys should be glad most of the veterans have quit... talented Vindictas tore fleets up back then. Some of the best grouped up and utterly murdered the completion. 100/0 was a thing... and they happened often.

Be glad this battlefield is more balanced than it use to be. To further reinforce the point... if you think it's so powerful. You do it. See how that works out.

I support deleting this thread out right. If you want to debate the module do so. Leave his name out of it. Allegations of cheating... especially in a topic header is serious business IMO. Even if it's only implied... you're completely stripping him of any honor, talent and time he put into this game. Not cool.

If you feel the need to report someone take it to the proper channels and in private. With proof if you can.

I don't get this attack against Snake_Eatel2. We have established that he's not cheating. Whether the module is broken or not is a matter of discussion. Personally i think it is, because of its very low cooldown but that's just my opinion.
Also i don't see it as an exploit. It's not exploiting a mechanic that's not supposed to be happening. That skill was obviously designed by the devs to work the way it does.. it wasn't an accident. Maybe they miscalculated its effectiveness and they will have to tweak it but that doesn't make it an exploit.

The thing is, it's not Snake's fault for using a module that exists in the game in its beta phase. If anything it's good that he does so that if people complain and the devs find it necessary, it will be addressed. I mean sure, it's annoying but this is why we're playing in this beta, right? He's not transforming the game into anything. He's playing with what he's given and personally through him i found out about a skill that i think should be fixed. Maybe others don't think so. Maybe i can work around it. We'll see.

...we are in beta devs must listen to top players, the less, and to average ones, the most...by the way...if they want to survive and earn money from the game...

Also i disagree with this. "Top players" are players that have experiemented more. Devs should take these into consideration A LOT cause "acerage players" can also include inexperienced ones. If we start nerfing everything to suit the average players, when these become better and more experienced they'll be playing an entirely useless and dull game.

Anyway, not meaning to derail the topic. I agree with Dunk and Howdidhekillme. This thread under this title is no longer needed. We could open a thread discussing the specific module i guess.

I am very sad for you Snake, really...this is a game...use the 10.000 hours rule to improve your health...this game now will be remebered as: "Nerdnought"...please...

1: you tell us you was quitting, but now Dev should be happy you will not, because you did find an exploit...good: how many players will quit because of you and peaople like you...? At last, as it happens ALWAYS with mmorpg or similar games, the higher rankings will be covered by exploiters ( I did do myself in past when I was younger...my fault)...I think devs would like to heve 10000 paying newbs, rather than 100 top players with all specs maxed out and so no more money gain....becaouse of people fleeing away from exploiters, who kill them thousands times...this is a game...I must remember you many times I fear...

2: It is very simple: If you transform something in to something else, you are good in this really, you are simply exploiting devs intentions...a destroyer is an all around ship...it should support dreadnoughts like it happens in real mlife war fleets...it is not ment for seek and destroy...this is a corvette job at least...simply you was able to find something devs did not want...we'll see what will..happen...corvette also are a big matter...but this is another story

3: someone should be a pro in real life...if you spend 10.000 hours in a game...ehm...you do not have any time left for anything else...this is ultra-nerdistic...please...do not remember us you are top notch also in this field of expertise...we already know that

4: You would want to remove level MM...seriously??? As I stated before...doing so...you will have hundreds of avarage players running away from the game because of frustration...instead Devs should implement a glitcher-league where you, super pro people, could outrage your real life frusrations...or may be you could have some mountain biking riding before playing any game...just to cool down a bit...

5: last question how old are you?? May I ask..? Thank you

Dude, now you are resorting to name calling because that's the best you have? I only referenced the 10000 hour rule so people would be aware that natural ability only carries you so far - you can be among the best naturally, but enough practice will make anyone the best of the best. Obv I have not literally spent 10000 hrs in any game because that is about equal to a full time job for 5 years. What I did mean is that i have been playing this like every day for hours on end, so compared to people who have only played a few hours total I will have more practice and more modules/ higher tier ship. There would be no point to ever unlock anything if a new tier 2 or 3 ship didn't have problems when being persecuted by a fully researched tier 4 destroyer (meant to destroy).

So for the other things,
1 it's hard to imagine that many people quitting due to "I played like 10 rounds and this one time this one guy killed it so hard I'm now going to quit". The top players, say 10% are only 10% of the population, so it stands to reason that most of the time you will not encounter them - when you do, you should simply try to learn or try to fight. The top 1% are even fewer and will rarely be seen given any decent size player base.

2 I don't see how you can speak on the devs behalf or know their intentions. This has been done on pc for some time from what I have read. As far as exploits I don't think so - thanks for having my back on this fuxoff - an exploit is more like finding a barrier that can be seen/shot through 1 way but solid from the other way and using that to shoot people who have no way of ever being able to see or shoot you back. Also destroyers I'm pretty sure act like perimeter defense in naval fleets and are quite capable of running circles around the rest of the fleet, and also would change directions as fast and as often as possible to avoid fire while continuing to fire on targets.

3 I already talked about name calling and 10000 hours at the beginning of this post

4 kinda talked about that too with top players in matchmaking - a lot of games do have pro leagues and casual/ranked matchmaking separated. The top players still go to casual when they feel like fighting the people they fought to get to the top and don't feel like fighting only they top 1 or 10% or whatever - and there's also the concept of smurf/re/fake accounts where top people have fake lower stats - you have to remember most of them started playing x game because it was fun for them, and many of them just want to have fun too.

And 5 - of course you can ask, but I will just say I'm old enough that I can play games any time I want to and no one will be telling me when I can or can't.

Sorry if you think I'm playing the game wrong - I think I am just having fun. Tell me your in game name and I will literally quit games when I see you on the other team - I'm not at all worried about maintenance fees as I just unlocked the t5 destroyer and could basically pay for another if it were researched.

I forgot to mention - this feels like that one time when I used to play fight night and someone called me a glitcher for using the games lean function to lean away from punches and launching counter hooks not the stronger slower uppercuts because I found hooks to let me throw more volume and land more punches for less of a stamina cost - so being an efficient counter puncher on there is cheating I guess - this thread really feels like that though

I play on the PC version, evasive maneuver is my favorite way to play the heavy destroyer, lets me keep up with paper airplane vindictas and vettes long enough to smoosh them. Also lets me outrun the slower missiles lol, great times
EDIT: not to mention the ability to bodycheck dreadnoughts out of position when i want. its not terribly helpful most of the time but it is very fun

Snake, don't take it personally. i said "possible cheater" because i didn't know, and i allow for my own ignorance. the guys explained and i even replied that i wasn't sure (hence the topic).

i've played well against you when you've been on the opposing team, and aside from the one time i refused to heal you because i THOUGHT you were cheating, i've healed you in other rounds. also, i'm in T3, but i'm usually the one consistently hitting you because i lead targets like a boss. also armored lockdown works wonders for your blitzes. what bothered me is how quickly you were shredding everything on my team that i wasn't personally escorting. that's the only thing that drove me to make a topic.

the real issue with players complaining about things they haven't seen yet is that the gotdang tiers need to be separated again. i had no reason to look at T4 and see what skills they had because i'm still only in T3, and i almost never pay attention to what killed me because as soon as i die i'm reaching for the dab rig.

Also, radaman, it's in the game, so it's fair. as stated, he can blitz hard, but an armored lock can completely negate the element of surprise. the consensus on the boards seems to be that the skill is slightly OP, so they'll likely look at extending the cooldown at some point, but for now it's workable. i made the topic so the Snake could either explain himself or so that others could cure me of my ignorance.

it's done. now if you're PERSONALLY salty because he laid a smoking on you, suck it up and chill out.

EDIT:and once more... in my defense, i draw attention to my ignorance throughout the OP, i never accused snake outright of cheating. i was just trying to find out if he was or not.

It's all good Paradigm, that Evasive Maneuver does look pretty wacky. Possible changes to the module itself aside, the actual visual does look a bit stiff and jerky at times, Calamity brought that up the other night. I think the animation could do with a bit of smoothing out.

Snake, we will be squading tonight, you are welcome to join man, I'd like to work on some effective ways to heal you, it can be tough at times due to your high mobility.
