So I've just unlocked the Jutland. I e taken it for a spin. I did well enough to come top. But I would like to do better. What modules would be the best to go for and on what order would be the best ones to go for first.

Paging Randy MaBoB, paging Randy MaBoB.

I know there are a number of Jutland players, but I remember him playing with it QUITE A BIT for awhile. So, I'm sure he'd be a great source for pointers and other knowledge. smile

It's not so much the modules, but the combination of modules AND officer briefings. Figure out what kind of playstyle you might want to pursue with a dreadnought such as that, and outfit it accordingly. For distance, nukes are a good course of action, as well as some fighter modules. For up close and personal, broadside weapons are a primary choice. And that's just the 1st module.

In the end, its HOW you choose your playstyle that determines your loadout. And, not all dreads are the same. You just happened to pick the slowest one to poke around with.

Hope it helps!

"You don't mind that I overclocked the ship's modules, right? I mean, it's not like they've caught on fire..."

I know that, but I don't want to waste my time with modules that are not very good, or very situational.

What about median and heavy atoguns ? are their worth using ? Bought medians and i really don't know if they are even shooting .

And second question , Slug torpedo is worth using ? Or forget and go for light missiles?

IMHO the first module you should get is the t4 warp jump then immediately go for retaliator. After that it's up to you smile

I use plasama broadsides and light missiles. Armour amp for 3rd and warp for 4th. Retaliatitor OB with It's a trap.

Broadside Build:
Plasma Broadside, Light Missiles, Stasis Pulse/Armor Booster Pulse, Warp
Retaliator, Module Amp, Slow and Steady, It's a Trap

You can use Ballistic Broadside for high dps since it benefits more from retaliator than Plasma broadside however it is inaccurate and is countered by healing. Skip scatter-gun since it is bugged.

Nuke Build:
Missile Salvo, Vulture Missile, Armor Booster Pulse, Armor Amp/Warp
Module Recycler/Retaliator, Module Amp, Slow and Steady, Adrenaline Rush

Module Recycler is good if the group up since you can easily get double and triple kills and lets you fire another salvo.

Interceptor Build:
Interceptor, Vulture Missile, Armor Booster Pulse, Armor Amp
Retaliator, Module Amp, Slow and Steady, Adrenaline Rush

Experimental Build:
Fighters, Triad Pods, Median Autoguns, Warp
Retaliator, Survival Instinct, Slow and Steady, It's a Trap

I do not recommend this but you can give it a try.
