Gothic ships, that look like floating cathedrals (W40K-ish)

Ships that are "welded hunks of random other ships" (like the Space Orks from W40k or the Reavers from Serenity/Firefly)

You may be happy to know that Dan Abnett is the lead writer for Dreadnought, the man who wrote the Gaunt's Ghosts Black Library novels, some of the most popular WH40k literature. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of Gothic inspiration underlying the artwork of the game, under his influence.

The models they have in the promo videos look really good to me. I like the Corvette class ship.

On The Gamescom i had a long interview to Peter the gamedirector of Yager and he told me for now the ship skins look more like they are crafted on earth but for later we will have like "alian ships" when we reach out in the far galaxy. So i think the borderes here are only the phantasy i think we will have tons of ships for DLCs or stuff like that
