Seriously thinking about going over to play EVE...

OK so I signed back in and have tried Recruit Deathmatch twice (20 plus minutes- 15 plus minutes) and nothing.... This is getting beyond ridiculous.

Just to make it clear, until Sunday, I never waited more then 30 minutes - which is still too long for gamers as a norm. Most time are between 5 and 10 minutes for me. I have gotten into battles where others have siad they were waiting an hour where I waited 5 minutes. Go figure.

Today was an experiment for me. In the past I have reset my queue afeter 15-20 minutes and gotten into a match in under 10. Shortest time for me is less than a minute, but that did end up being a battle already in progress...

Go figure!

Someone tell me ow to post a picture from my clipboard please (Copy-paste did not work). I am appalled by the 4 hour queue time! This absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May I ask what you're currently queuing for? Just trying to get more information. On Recruit my most recent wait time (while still not ideal) for the match I just joined was 4:17.

I was Queued for a Recruit Deathmatch. Just exited after over 5 hours in queue. I have exited the game and will be moving on.

DITTO!!! I left my game in matchmaking and it is at 3:45 PLUS!!! that's hours and minutes. I was only able to play one match all day. Tell me how to attach a screenshot here and I will.

Base is going - no - already getting bored and fed up. What the above time tells me is you can't get enough people to play the game across the world. That bodes poorly for the chance of survival.

How do I insert a screenshot? lol

Got into one Deathmatch today out of 4 tries. That took 1 hour 20 minutes while I worked on another monitor... Currently at 1 hour 30 minutes.... Sad.

I can't even go into do mods or buy anything because it says I have ) credits. This happens all the time and they show up intermittently usually after winning a match... Go figure.

Don't worry JinKo082, it's nowhere near dead! Just as Vigilant has mentioned, I'd recommend checking out the Discord as well so you can stay close to the Dreadnought community. Especially since we know that our Closed Beta's player traffic fluctuates quite a bit depending on the time of day. We have big plans across the board for the future and we look forward to bringing them to light.

OK so I just posted in another thread about my EXTREMELY, stupidly long queue times. Your telling me I need to install a 3rd party voice/chat app to see when people are playing an online game (closed beta or not)?

I'm not looking to get into a "big-d!@k" contest with the original testers here, but 1 hour 40 plus minutes is ridiculous by any gaming standard (current 3rd attempt is 36 minutes...).

Do you guys do Dev Sprints or Big-Bang builds? It has been weeks since we have seen any patch.

As to keeping the testers informed and in the loop - at least acknowledge that something is being done (Miquel is VERY good at this) beyond stroking ruffled feathers.

OFF the soap-box...

I do not play that much because of the "iddues" the game still has and this morning was a good indicator to me. Attempted to join a Recruit Deathmatch and waited 38 minutes. Of course this has happened before and this was about the longest I have had to wait, so I cancelled and restarted another Recruit Deathmatch.... 10 minutes... 20 minutes... 30 minpliutes... sigh... 45 minutes... Really guys???... 60 minutes.... UGH!... 1 hour 15 minutes.... WTF!... ok enough - after 1hour 40PLUS minutes, I gave up.... again...

To the DN team, you have a potentially fun and addictive game here. But unless you pick up the dev pace and fix your testers issues, it will die before go-live.

One good thing is you are forcign me to study for certification updates (that I really don't want to do)! lol
