Sure, why not. Maybe its a factor that should force more players to get in a squads, or to keep current top players interested in game with the privelege to free farm solo randoms.
I wouldnt be so sure MM is broken without any official statement from the devs. It could be working as inteded.

MM seems broken, you can see that fomr hitting tab in a match that involves a squad. It will always have more level 50's on it. It's as if the MM counts the squad as a single level 50. I've seen many a match where you's have a level 50 sqaud of 4 people, and 2 other level 50's vs 3 level 50's and an asortment of lower levels.

I'm sorry for disappointing you, but nobody cares about solo randoms in 2018. Its only about gaming communities, which are the most valuable part of any game's playerbase. If you are not the part of it = you are just dust for developers.
And developers is doing the only right thing for keeping this game popular - giving squads priveleges for having better matchmaking, which is stimulating solo players to organize their own groups and communities.This is a great decision for keeping valuable players interested in playing, and forcing useless weaklings that ruin teamplay games to leave.

By the way - look who's talking about ignorance. A person who is thinking whole world revolves around him, his needs and comfort. Make your own game, or search for what suits you better, dont cry at everything that doesnt created specially for you.

Solo players should be punished for playing alone in a teamplay games, so squads vs random is a best option to force other players into forming a better teams. If you cant deal with it - this game is not for you. Probably some battle-royale will do better.

So logic here is - if someone cant team up with other players (not like healing or focusing one target cant be done without voice comm, using logic and ingame commands, but whetever) - he should be able to solo outperform teamplay in other team.
Because everyone should get a trophy, right?

Doubling the dps with ptw would be a nice thing, if beam turrets could actually lock on targets, especially fast ones.
At the moment it loses nearly half of damage due to beam lag repeatedly loosing target you aiming at.
