He got it dew to the devs fucc up ... i mean if its ps4 exclusive why was it even in the pc game files???
It's not that i haven't understood that it is ps4 exclusive, but just taking it away from him with no compensation is just wrong in my eyes.

I mean these are cosmetic parts, if i would be in the devs position i would apologize to him for the inconvinience, he wasn't supposed to get this and give him compensation
Or even easier, just leave him the ship parts, because the effort doesn't match the benefits (i can't really see any)

Because they could have been place holders? It's like the T2 morningstar having the same ship parts as the T5 Zemi. If they gave the Zemi a different look would people QQ because they "lost" there Morningstart ship parts?

Every game has things in the game files that never see the light of day. I remember a really cool looking sword in Guild wars 2 being data mined in 2013, it has only just been put in the game.

dont forget DOWNLOAD FOR FREE

"I feel like a 'hey yoou players that actually use this ship and have the cosmetic that we can count on a hand...just so you know we are removing it, but cant tell you why because its a company thing' email would have been a better way to break the news than recieving the email in the op as if they fixed a bug l o l or catching it in a news cycle that is not pertinent to the pc"

Spare me the customer service reply, this is the issue. I am literally complaining about cosmetics in a free to play game. You guys made a choice, and decided because there was a "small number of players" that this 'bug' was low priority, fair and statistically logical. However, for a YEAR there was zero communication that this was infact a 'bug' OR that it would not only be 'fixed' but taken away from the platform we so earnestly tested on! I of all people TOTALLY understand that i actually have no rights to anything owned by a company, these cosmetics or even the things i pay real $$ for.. are not actually MINE. In my opinon, due to the fact that there was ZERO communication with some of the people that YOU devs PLAY with, falling in suite with with company after company doing LITERALLY what W4R-DN claimed...Pulling the 'yeah but we own this' card is a shallow, low blow that shows no real admiration for the players that have willingly paid into this game soley to see your success, from the beginning!! Instead, so frequently has this happened that it deserves to be said like this: ''as usual it is shown by another company that what is important is new players, not 'legacy' players..heh or retention''

With a heavy heart I slowly drift *my* Hactar(((TM))) to Gaia, to retreat into the forest once again, this smelly bigfoot wallflower blooms no more. Purgatio Extincto Orbis Cosmos no longer..

Some ship cosmetic features that have been in the game since the original iteration have been removed and released free but as a ps4 exclusive. This ship with this look is what drew me to the game during the end of the alpha, or more likely the first beta cycle. Im basically a one trick of that ship still with an artistic amount of hours spent playing it.

well i see its ps4 only content. irritating that it was just removed, but i suppose my nose should be pressed against the news cycles amirite?? this is a very frustrating feeling because i and perhaps 3-4 other players have several hundred hours on that ship (800 here) so it feels personal for a marketing decision.

"Hello,

We wanted to reach out to you to let you know that there was an issue on your account where the Cattaro ship pieces weren't available to you. We were able to correct this issue and you should be able to see the Bridge, Forecastle, Hull, and Stern when you customize the Cattaro ship. If you do not see this on your account, please let us know!"

lmao why were my Hactar pieces removed from me? Thats valued at about the cost of a player.

hmm i have realized palos specifically gets access to t2 beam amp, but upon upgrading to a higher module tier you lose access to the lower, previous tier. could use of t2 beam amp be provided to higher tier ships despite having upgraded to a higher module tier?

Could palos line possibly get access to tier two modules?

What I'm reading from this is "Greybox should be more forgiving to the dickier side of gaming culture". You're free to correct my interpretation.

i said "This really is just a clash of cultures so i am not trying to weasel out of my mute." and then all i said about the tos was "In my opinion the strictness + inflexibility of Greybox and their in game chat TOS is a clear tell that they adhere to the mainstream politically correct cultural shift" it isnt a far leap to make the claim that im wanting greybox to do as you said but it is a leap none the less. I totally understand your sentiment, but it remains hyperbolic. there is a difference between insulting someones on a deeper level like is often done when heated conversations about one's sexuality happens right, this isnt the case here. link related: http://imgur.com/a/a1v2t the most recent one where i was actually issued the mute is what spurred me to bring up context, not whatever you seem to have thought i meant. lack of context makes it appear as if i was just 'being dickier', the reality of it is (inb4 ur saying this for appeal) I said that to someone who was insulting aspects of the game, as well as devs; however to no one's surprise it was the player who made a mistake by not READING as well as by jumping to conclusions about how said aspect of the game works . yeah you can be all like 'hurr its not your place to defend'.. shame me for opening my mouth at that point, but of course i broke the tos, and as i have said twice now im not debating that. believe you me, i have played many a game with many a tos. I feel as though this brings me back to my original tangential point, if the letters f g and t without spaces between triggers you, perhaps its time for some soul searching :^)

So, i have triggered the chat censor enough over my time playing (wish there was a /hoursplayed) that i have a week long in game mute. I have mixed feelings about it of course, mostly because it is just so hard to avoid politics, even in the world of gaming. I am into politics for politics, not gaming for politics. Though this is not the initial point of this post but perhaps worth discussion as well; the reason i am muted is due to my inability to shift my habitual 'in the moment' competitive gaming talk from apparently a passing or already passed previous aspect of gaming culture. Expressing this perceived cultural shift using these terms however makes it seem that this culture truly has come to pass, which patently is NOT true. In my opinion the strictness + inflexibility of Greybox and their in game chat TOS is a clear tell that they adhere to the mainstream politically correct cultural shift.. that is fine. Mistakenly Greybox thought that gaming culture has shifted as well perhaps mirroring the mainstream politically correct world. Gaming has and is still existing as a sub-culture powerful and populated enough to continue marching to the beat of its on drum. I have played games since my youth. I first scratched my competitive itch with friends like many, playing on the n64. This truly blossomed via online gaming. Along side this grew something that seems to now be perceived as bad. This new 'true badness' is nothing other than 'talking cr*p' or banter or whatever colloquial term prefer. Having been in gaming from the early 90's onward, my preferred terms became set in habitual stone ages ago. The horrid term i used, which in my youth simply replaced 'loser', was the shorthand expletive now only thought to insult a homosexual man. This really is just a clash of cultures so i am not trying to weasel out of my mute. Personally i think that context matters greatly, but i am shown that this is not the case as the only chat line i receive from support is literally what flagged the system.

and as you can see cr*p is censored. i cant think of a teen that has not heard that word

https://webmshare.com/R301v link (pic) related shows the persistence of the lack of political correctness gamers express/desire. youtube's chat platform

inb4 whiteknights being like 'actually i am a gentlemen gamer m'lady' vomits

Now that that is out of the way.. why does greybox feel it is appropriate to mute me from all chat functions rather than just global. I can not even get a hold of people on my friends list, as well as it 'feels' like in game ping commands (need healing, target this) are muted as well though that might be paranoia plus solo queue.

it ends up not being as big of a deal as you think. the dps tac is what i main. once you get good enough with it you arent struggling for score between your healing modules and the kills you can get with your stronger m1.

really all this does/means imo is that healing point generation when it comes to score farming is just wicked easy. you can literally sit in one spot, low to the ground and just hold m1, farming points but hardly playing. (countless players do this)

with the cattaro it feels like you are working hard
