I've been away for about a year. Is there still a player-base for this game? How many players on during prime time?

Any group of players that sees a lone Jutland in close range with no heals will focus fire you to death long before you can destroy 3 ships in a row. I can see you destroying maybe one lite ship this way but you will be trading your life for the life of the enemy ship. If you want to kill more than one enemy ship using this method you will need healer support or a poor enemy team to play against. I usually look for ACs or TCs that are out of range of any support ships. This does not happen often because most players are not stupid enough to let this happen to them. When it does, warp in and you have a free kill waiting. But usually flying a Jutland means exchanging your life for the life of one enemy TC or AC. Party time begins when you have 2 or 3 good healers at your back. Then you can really rack up some kills; but this unfortunately is a rare occurrence



Timing is important in that kind of play. Obviously if you warp in an idle group, you will eat everything and die. But if both sides are shooting at each other and you warp it, that's another story, because most shooter will just look forward, not behind.


Usually my score end up as 8-3 or 10-4, no heal received.



This ship is very good at killing things under the right conditions. Unfortunately, it is also very good at getting blown up

I love my Jutland, its my most enjoyable ship. Problem is it is very hard to survive in this ship. Because of your size you make a great target for focus fire. These ships are very dependent on heals and if none are around or they don't know what they are doing, you suffer badly! Because of of this, damage totals can be low. I think they need to tweek scoring for Tank ships to more reflect their ability to absorb damage and attract enemy fire away from the rest of the team.



The problem is not you dying, the problem is how many enemies going down with you.


After many trials I now equip my jutland with plasma broadside, flachette, armor booster and warp. In game I just wap on top of enemies healer or arty, unload broadside + flatchette, shield + booster up and let Retaliator do the work. I don't intend to survive, I usually can launch 3-4 broadsides and 2-3 flachettes before I die. I'm pretty sure enemies healer hate me.


Surprisingly this is the only dreadnought I don't find any reliance on healer. Solo all the way

The mini map in its current form is close to useless. I need a full map of the playing area with terrain features; and I need to be able to zoom in and out. Because the current mini map is so useless, I very often have no idea where I am, or where anyone else is. This problem must be addressed.

I am so glad this game does not require lightening fast movement. If I had access to this games engine I would have developed a different theme with it. I would have created a 1899 Zeppelin warfare game. The slow movement and low altitude would have made more sense and been easier to understand

I logged-in to take part in this weekends event. I was immediately beset by crash-bugs and long load times. Sad to see this is still a problem. Kind of puts me off playing a bit

My game runs but just as a match is about to launch I get ejected from the lobby and sent back to the hanger. My windows is up to date and so is my video driver.

How do I target an enemy ship using WJ4? How do I know when I have a OB assigned to the ship?

It is now 09:12 EST and I cannot log in. Any idea when server maintenance will be over?
