Ofcourse a Hardpoint mode would be awesome to have, it would probably one of the game modes i'll most of the time play.

Regarding the map size, don't forget you can redirect your power to your engine so you could move faster, also theres the warp thingy, of which im not sure whether every ship has 'm.. but atleast the dreadnought does..

Can't wait for Dreadnought to become public for its beta testing phase. I've been eager to play the destroyer class, although i can't wait to rain down fire on my enemies using a tactical nuke :]

Though not a whole lot of information has been revealed on game type modes. I would say its probably safe to assume standard modes like deathmatch, domination, capture the flag, etc will be involved. Will there be anything deeper in the game such as clan wars or fighting for control of territory on a map, something that contributes to something greater than a single battle?

Clan wars still sounds pretty basic if you ask me.. I'm hoping they'll figure out some unique game mode uncompaired to any existing game mode. Though I suppose it's pretty hard to think 'out of the box' considering game modes, since so many exist.

I'm thinking about the corvette or destroyer.. though I have to say that I can't wait to launch a tactical nuke with a dreadnought..

There are similar games to dreadnought yes, but they don't even cover 50% of dreadnoughts quality at the moment.
