I sometimes die because of that smile

Carriers are being discussed pretty often I guess smile but being able to chose (I'm thinking about check boxes) game modes you want to play, that would be remembered not just between games but also between gaming sessions (remember my choice after I turned off the game) would be really really nice, everytime I start game I get into the proving grounds mode which I leave rightaway....

Flying around galaxy would completely break the game as it is now smile but it would be awesome, if you could leave the hangar and just fly around and check different planets... but to be honest, that's a whole ton of content to be made...

Assuming that folks are interested in them, I wanted to try to do my part to help out the beta and give some feedback.

  1. Amazing game: love the graphics, love the theme, really enjoying the feel of the game and moving around with the ships.

  2. I felt like i had no idea what i was doing after finishing the tutorial, either things didnt get emphasized enough or i wasn't paying enough attention but i still wasnt sure what was happening and why. and that continued for a while, i think i have it all figured out now but for a very long time i felt like i was swimming without knowing how i got in the pool.

you are probably supposed to play some Proving Grounds (PvE) first before you get into battle, try to fly different ships to learn basic modules, you can stay in recruit as long as possible, unlock all modules and ships, and when you are comfortable, go to T3 (veteran). I think this would be best route for you...

  1. The maps are amazing, again re: graphics and what not. That said, I tend to associate dreadnoughts and space battle with...space. And at least after 2 days of playing the City in the Clouds and the Ice manufacturing place are the most space-like. Maybe I just haven't seen them yet, there does seem to be quite a few (which is awesome) but there's not been any Space in my space ship battles. Which seems a bit odd.

  2. Additionally the maps are very busy, it's fun and i like it, but it was unexpected as well. Who would have considered massive space faring dreadnoughts hugging through tight turns in canyons trying to avoid fire to pop out and blast things. Which IS fun...but...how about some in-line grudge/smash wall of battle style void warfare? Is that planned?

I don't think I understand, but if there was a space map with nothing to cover behind it wouldn't be very interesting to be honest... but more space station maps would be nice

  1. Campaign, there will be one right? So much detail is in this game, please don't be a PVP with online live action only. Other games have done that and been woefully short sighted. The foundation for some impressive lore/background is here. I have to admit that in most cases i am a huge lore junky and i love reading it. So maybe its just me. But there's a ton of campaign potential here and i hope you all fully intend to capitalize on it.

To be honest, sadly, I think there won't be campaign anytime soon...

But yeah, a lot of potential here

  1. From a purely selfish point of view, what carryover will there be from/for those of us participating in the beta to the live version?

There won't be any more wipes, you will retain everything you have to the Live version.

Thanks for the games, loving it thus far.

Have fun !

yeah checkboxes for matchmaking would be top... also remember last choice button instead of "any" after game would be nice

These changes would make a life of healer much easier, maybe too much smile

3 days would be nice ^^ but don't overprice it please smile

Wanted to say this for a while ^^

+1

nothing unusual in any game tbh....
