Why nobody complains about the but/t-tanking dreads but keeps on complaining about a ship that can be easily hard-countered?


Corvettes are extremely useless if a team know what they are doing.


Put on energy gen, stasis, or have more situation awareness. Things corvettes can do is then highly limited.


This stuff really needs to stop.

Let's look at the key advantages the ship has over others:



  1. Corvette class is the fastest ship in the game (Highest Speed)

  2. Corvette class is the most maneuverable in the game (Most Agility)

  3. Corvette class has the smallest hotbox in the game (Best Avoidance)

  4. Corvette class is the only class with 100% shield absorption ability (Best Shields)

  5. Corvette class is the highest DPS class in the game by far (Best DPS)


  6. Corvette class can kill much larger ships before they can fire back (lowest Time to Kill)

  9. If a Svorg class arty is facing you, the hitbox will be smaller.

Corvettes are not a problem for me.

Counters for vettes

Dread - stasis pulse / light missiles / broadsides

Destroyer - storm missiles / disrupter missiles / nuke if they're dumb enough / ram if you're a god

Tac - energy generator / blast pulse / flechette (increasing survival rate is the main goal here)

Arty - all missiles are good / git gud at sniping
