Almost all of this update is very good, still wish there wasn't 2-3 tier versions of a ship, and instead have new factions with their own different ships.

Pls return to the beta ship mode, instead of the WG style of grind tree.


If not decrease the price of modes, it takes dozens of games just to get enough to unlock and buy 1 mode tree for a T3 ship.

If you could go back to they way it played in the Closed Beta?


"without"
- ship reskins with different stat
- grind trees having to play ships you don't want to play
- locking officer/crew training behind ships you don't want to play
- having to buy mods you'll never use just to get to progess

Ps. Maybe if you followed the LOL style instead of the WG style, maybe I'd play more than once a month.

They can get back to the glory days by dropping the HATED WG tech tree style, and going back to the old pick and choose style!

You Know, Right? That one were we could buy any ship with out a grind line? Fit any mod we wanted? Were the same ship could be modded to be a tank one game and a dps ship in another? Played more like a ship MOBA?

Typical, they listen to their player base like a RU game developer. (gaijin)

I play both WOWS and MOBAs in general, I was excited and played to rank 50 because a Capital Ship MOBA was new and fun.


I am already tier X in WOWS, so I have no problems with their formula.

My problem is that I did enjoy this game as it was, and now it has changed.


Probably will play Fractured Space instead, I preferred Dreadnought because the models and effects were better looking.

Thankfully I never spent money here, maybe if it changes back.

Pretty much nothing I was hoping for and everything i dislike about World of something and WT.


things i was looking for


secondaries should be semi-automatic / like in Battlestations: pacific, it was automatic if you weren't using.


instead of a general rank, or these newer and much worse system , have a 5 rank system / one for every ship type, all mod and ships for that type can be unlocked in their specific ranking.

So you can just grind for a specific DD or BB if you want.

better custom mods, before there were some mod that were just too OP;

/ DD storm missile vs. all other missiles /

better optimization and diversification was needed, instead just getting the mods is a grind now and is more limited than ever.


ship types, i liked the fact that one of the earliest ships, the Gora, was just as good at rank 1 as it was at rank 47, long after i got the vindicta.

I was hoping for more of the same, more different factions were the ships were more or less just as good as the next with different strengths and weaknesses.


Instead i get piece of shito #1 - #4 and then something i might consider taking pride in and nicknaming.

Also because of these new system discourages owning one of everything like in the old game / a Nox, if played right could be just as effective as a Grenda, now there is no point using a low tier arty because your highest ship is a dread, even if your time really needs arties.

Edit: I also think that ships should have strong and weak angles.

take dreads for example, the Zemy has few guns but they're evenly spaced / 3 shot at most angles, while the monarch have many more, most are on its side.


ideally a Zemy would come bow on / smallest target, same amount of guns / while the monarch would try to broadside because i could potentially get 5 guns on target instead of 1 or 2.


of course, the game model is lazy and generally limits only a certain number of turret is work at a time, that being said, i've have turrets shoot through its own ship because of this.
