Face it, you die to vette because you refuse to acknowledge there are many countermeasures.

THISSSSSSS

The sooner people start replacing tears with tactics, the sooner they will grasp the fundamentals of the game.

There is a reason why every level 50 player in the game isn't using a corvette non stop.

My Harwich's record against artillery cruisers and healer tacs after the enemy 'vettes give up begs to differ.

Having been on the receiving end of this numerous times I can back up that statement smile

It's pretty funny seeing an "I quit" and "Corvettes are OP" post both from the same guy though smile

Never mind, fixed it myself. Please delete this.

Just updated the game and every time I try to launch I get the error message:

"The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I've run the repair tool twice but it's still not working, any suggestions?

Just watch the matches...it speaks for itself. Your experiences seem outdated.

Why would I need to watch them when I'm playing them? All I'm hearing is that you lack the ability to fly a T3 well so make a silly broad statement assuming everyone is the same. Your experiences seem salty.

Just No.

Sorry to say that but starting T3 ships are ALWAYS prey to T4 corvettes, artillery and destroyers, especially the fresh ones...there is hardly any possibility to "outplay" a T4 (besides the pilot is brain afk...).

And against a T4 dread T3 just makes not enough damage to have a real chance in a 1o1...And this is really frustrating. I can understand that people quit in this stage of the game (and many do, I am sure).

It does change with the later modules you get (especially Officer briefings!), but the start is just as horrible as described. I have all T3 unlocked but I just wont play them because it was so horrible to grind Fulgura. Still have nightmares....

Pro-Tip: Save Free XP to get the Officer briefings of T3 ships without flying them. THIS helped me a lot.

Absolute rubbish, I Have every T3, 90% of all T4's and 7 T5's so far. It's very easy to be one of the top scorers of the game with a T3 in a veteran match. The gap between T3 to T4 is nowhere near as big as T2 to T3. It all comes down to the pilots abilities.

I've never used artillery proximity mines, but I can confirm that the tactical nuke and drain mines work as described. The mines fly to their destination in a fat missile, which is followed by the missile disappearing and being replaced by the mine. Only then can it explode, and it seems to have a half-second or so of arming time after the missile disappears and the mine detonates (when launched directly at an enemy).

I don't see why artillery mines would behave any different; indeed, I think I saw proximity mines being used for the first time earlier, where I saw two fat missiles shoot out to the sides of an artillery before disappearing. Less than a second later the laser fields appeared.

Hmm, if that's the case then it's probably down to my low graphics settings and not being able to see them clearly when they're deployed.

Thanks guys, I've sent a ticket in with the required details.

While I have your attention though, I have another issue but I'm not sure if it's an update I've missed or an actual bug.

Shamelessly cut and pasted from my original post:

"Sorry if this is a well known thing but I've only just started up again after a few months off, I'd always run the bright red / blue Obsidian coating on all my ships. But now it's just grey almost? Plus all the other coatings seem to have been dulled down a bit, but Obsidian might as well not exist anymore, I feel like it was a bit of a waste of coins now smile

Can anyone shed some light on the changes?"

Hi SgtLeon,

good to see a great player coming back!!!

If you miss some of your coatings, i suggest to write a support ticket. I was missing one aswell and the restored it immediatly after i wrote my ticket.

Greets

Micro

I still have the coating in my list, but is doesn't really add any visible effects when applied and all coatings seem to have been dulled down a fair bit.
