Spammers will do as they do here, so long as they are able. They are not going to stop. Banning IPs is only effective if they use a static IP.
There are ways to limit how many posts people can make in a certain amount of time. Depending on what back server Forum you are using, there should be other ways to mitigate this behavior.
Prevention is best, deleting multiple posts after it has happened is required but stopping it before it happens is best.
Don't waste your breath, it's been going on for years. As long as they've got volunteers doing the deleting for free they're not gonna task a paid developer to install anti-spam measures, it's as simple as that.

I should have said the PC section, I don't know is sony have there own forums or not. Could easily make a sub forum there is they wanted.

We are aware that this is an issue, and it usually happens at very odd times of the day. Our teams do our best to mitigate this behavior. Belial does a good job handling the spam and I agree there should be anti-spam software in-place to control it better.
To your response Belial - We will be keeping the forums after Steam launch mostly for PS4 players to interact with each other.
