Strange, I think I caused this thread to turn invisible. I sadly can't remember everything but I have this backup:

Note: I have not bought the game yet, but I've seen videos, snapshots, and info.

Also Spoiler Warning, this section contains something that might involve a reward, it's not the ending, but this still might count as a spoiler!

I like to say thanks for giving a stage selection. For me, I am never a fan of games that is basically one big linear path, it ruins the sense of exploration and your own story feel, but I like to say that the stage selection really makes the game a lot better. The stages alone (not sure about all) are big and open in a sense with the multiple secrets and large areas to explore.

It's now like Mario 64 but with no hub kinda. smile

Of course it's not a sandbox game but I do think it's still possible to make a non-sandbox game still feel more free and open maybe. And this so far is great and I think I respect it so far.

Also for more feedback, I like to say that I wish the animation in general was better.

It's not bad, but could be worked on more. My personal problem is that whenever you normally run, you kinda "slide" while running (when you step on the ground and lift your foot up, your other foot on the ground kinda slides forward) and it's very noticeable when running up hills. Running on flat ground is far less noticeable though but I think I still kinda saw it on slow down speed on a video somewhere.

I kinda see this issue a lot and I don't think it's just your character either.

Perhaps I think to fix it, you either 1: Speed up the animation a little, or 2: Slow down the speed movement.

I added this on this reply:

Other problems involved animation sometimes not being seamless when switching between one animation to another sometimes.

And I think on another video (or same maybe?) the attempt to climb's radius was too big.

Nice! Also I was trying to make a thread in the general discussion area with a thanks and to suggest some improvements but for some reason my post mysteriously disappeared... What happened?

Edit: I think I made it appear again. When I replied, it acted like the first post on the thread I think and I guess that caused it to appear on the forums too.

Note: I have not bought the game yet, but I've seen videos, snapshots, and info. It's possible I might of took information about the game the wrong way. I also might get the game someday.

I also noticed the radius of attempting to grab might be too big on a video too and changing from one animation to another isn't so seamless sometimes.

I hope the creators are reading this! smile

I am a bit deep with basic animation personally and you may have noticed that. Haha
