So I found a brief interview that was posted on neogaf back in 2013, stating that Akira Yamaoka is composing the music for the game.

Can anyone from the development team confirm that it's Akira Yamaoka's music in the latest trailer?

Personally the musical score that accompanied the debut trailer was beautiful, it really set a whimsical tone for the world being shown. May I ask who you have doing the score? And how important getting that great magical sound was for Rime?

David García, the composer of Deadlight, made the debut track. Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill) is composing the OST as well. Sound is everything in Rime. You’ll eventually understand what I mean.

What's the name of the track please? so we can look it up. Or is it something composed specifically for the game and if so, any plans to release the soundtrack? As if it's all of that calibre I suspect it's something people will want.
